In this passage we read about the plague/judgment of flies, Pharaoh says the Israelites can go sacrifice but within the land, Moses says NO that's not the deal, the judgment of loss of livestock, judgment of boils.

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers." 2 Cor 6: 14 Isn't it remarkable? Last week we were exhorted to be "big-hearted" people, not "small; with generous affections, not "narrow" (2 Cor 6: 11-13). We must "open our hearts" and love this lost world as God "so loved" it. But now, this morning, we are warned not to be "yoked"! What does that mean?

Pastor Dave gives us an update on his trip to Asia, then we get into Exodus chapter 7. "They did just as the Lord commanded them," a verse that is very important in this chapter. This verse is a perfect example of the definition of Faith: The one who believes God and obeys. The Bible talks about Pharaoh hardening his heart towards God which means an unrelenting heart which is anchored against God, and then it talks about God hardening Pharaoh's hearts which means God is allowing Pharaoh's heart to harden more. Be wary not to become like Pharaoh allowing your heart to be harden towards God. Have a tender heart because every time God moves it is an opportunity for you to experience His Grace.

"Our heart is wide open...but you are restricted in your affections." 2 Cor 6: 11,12 Let's face it: we are living in an ever narrowing age! We confine ourselves to the iPhone and the web. We 'unfriend' people with a single click. We filter our news; we guard our 'safe space'. Worst of all, we tighten the confines of our worship and fellowship! And none of that...is like Christ.

"Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us." 2 Cor 5:20 ESV Isn't it amazing? Christ has His "ambassadors" in every corner of the world! And you, year Christian, are one of them; if you are faithful to your Savior. What does it mean to be an "ambassador"? Well, the answer to that question can be challenging, unnerving and--oh!--so richly rewarding! "...God who, through Christ, has reconciled us to Himself and has given us a ministry of reconciliation." 2 Cor 5: 18 Ever since Man's fall into sin, a great chasm yawns wide! it separates the human race from the God who loves us so! But what wonderful news we read in our Scripture this morning. God has been longing for that chasm to be bridged! His great desire is for you, and I, to be reconciled to Him!  Message by Pastor Rod Schorr, Calvary Chapel Old Towne, Orange, CA From his series on 2 Corinthians: You the Ultimate Survivor

In Pharaoh's anger, he charges the Israelites to more work but God says, Do not fear for I will use Pharaoh for my will. I am the Lord and I will bring you out of bondage. This is a turning point for Moses for he realizes, I am unable to do this job because not of my own inabilities but because I am not holy enough. When we look back on what God has done with us and for us we realize We are not worthy but, amazingly, God still wants to use us.

2 Chronicles 20:1-30; Is 58;11 Pastor Jiri Novak explains the wonderful protection, provision and victory that is granted to one of Israel's kings when he truly serves and worships the Lord Almighty. "The Lord will guide you always, he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your fram. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail." Is. 58:11
